plus EPIRB The navtec global-C / global-C plus EPIRB can be used "Stand-Alone" without a cradle. In this case only manual activation is possible

plus EPIRB This picture shows the activation switch which is secured by a security device against inadvertand usage. In case of an emergency the ring has to be removed or broken before manual activation. |

plus global-C RCU The navtec EPIRB global-C can optinally be retrofitted with a remote control unit (RCU). The RCU allows for a remote activation from the ship's bridge. German (MMSI) ships can enter the nature of distress. Click on the picture for an explanation. (approx. 30kByte). |
